Vehicle lands in creek along Oka-White
Oak Road near Chloe, with no injury

A vehicle driven by Goldie McIntyre, about 65, of Newton, clipped a telephone pole, plunged over an embankment, traveled about 150 feet through a meadow and landed in the creek Monday morning.

McIntyre climbed out of the vehicle and went to a nearby house, uninjured.

Calhoun EMS and the Upper West Fork VFD responded to the scene. Deputy Carl Ballengee is investigating.
