Inic Idell Goff, 78 - Stumptown

Inic Idell Goff, 78, of Stumptown, West Virginia, passed away February 27, 2010 at St. Joseph's Hospital in Parkersburg with her family at her side.

She was born November 23, 1931 at Apple Farm, Calhoun County, a daughter of Otho and Goldie Settle.

She was a former employee of Kinney Shoe Company with 15 years service.

Surviving are two daughters, Sheila (Jim) Garretson and Shirley (Doyle) Hupp all of Grantsville WV; one son, Jeffrey Stump of Charleston WV; brothers and sisters, Virgil Settle of Nevada, Seymore (Marlyn) Settle of Newark WV, Charles (Linda) Settle of Virginia, Ben (Debbie) Settle of Parkersburg WV, George (Kathy) Settle of Newark; and Agnes (Woodrow) Schoolcraft of Sand Ridge WV.

Also surviving are five grandchildren, Curtis (Kristin) Garretson, Zachary Hupp and Katie Hupp all of Grantsville, Amber (Tommy) Kirkpatrick of Point Pleasant, and Chastity (Danny) Bunch of Mt. Zion WV; also 6 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by three husbands, Howard Stump Jr., Clark Minney, and Leon Goff; a son, Phillip Stump, and brothers and sisters, Adelene Snider, Leroy Settle, Ona Paxton, Audrey Walters, and Sheral Settle.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, March 4 at Stump Funeral Home in Grantsville. Rev. John Vannoy will officiate. Interment will be in the Collins Community Cemetery at Stumptown.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday.
