PRE-K ENROLLMENT DUE BY MARCH 15

Submitted By Joyce Williams Calhoun County Pre-K Collaborative will be accepting applications for Preschool with Head Start services for school year 2010-2011. All children who are 4 years old on or before September 1, 2010 are eligible to apply for enrollment. The enrollment application is available on the school and county websites, as well as the local elementary schools and the Board of Education Office. All children applying will need to have a physician complete the WVDHHR Health Check Form including a hemoglobin test. This form is available at your family physician or local health facility. Applications and preferably Health Check forms are due by March 15, 2010 to the Calhoun County Board of Education, Attn: Carla Taylor at 540 Alan B. Mollohan Drive, Mt. Zion, WV 26151. Any child age 3 and thought to have delays plus children who are 5 or 6 years old on or before September 1, 2010 not currently enrolled, should contact Calhoun County Board of Education at (304) 354-7011, ext. 10 to get screening information.
