WVU-P ANNOUNCES 2009 PRESIDENT'S SCHOLARS - Sears Is 4.0

West Virginia University at Parkersburg is announcing its President's Scholars for the fall semester.

The honor students maintained a 4.0 grade point average while earning 12 or more hours of college credit. The scholars and their majors include:

CALHOUN COUNTY - Grantsville: Julia R. Sears, business technology.

RITCHIE COUNTY - Harrisville: Michael J. Valentine, RBA; Pennsboro: Ann M. Post, education; Ryan E. Richards, computer & information technology.

ROANE COUNTY - Looneyville: Tammie M. Nichols, Board of Governors; Spencer: Peggy S. Given, education; Robert B. Hickman, RBA.

WIRT COUNTY - Elizabeth: Nathan R. Curfman, engineering technology; Matthew W. Morgan, welding; Rosemary B. Settle, RBA; Stormi M. Watkins, business administration.
