STORM WARNING UPDATE FOR AREA - Warning Extended Through Thursday

The Winter Storm Warning remains in effect until 7 am EST Thursday. An Arctic front will move across the area tonight. Behind the front snow will increase in coverage and intensity mainly later tonight and Wednesday. Gusty northwest winds over 30 mph at times will cause some blowing and drifting of the snow. Total snow accumulations for the event will generally range from 3 to 7 inches before snow tapers off later in the day Wednesday. The temp Tuesday night will be about 20 degrees, with a high in the 20s Wednesday. The nighttime temps will be dropping to the low teens.
