WOMAN SHOOTER - A 19-year-old Beckley woman was arrested for shooting a .22 caliber handgun at another woman in the parking lot of a Family Dollar store.

Kerina Vaughn was booked on charges of wanton endangerment. She is being held at Southern Regional Jail under $10,000 bond.

The incident stemmed from an argument between Vaughn and a 30-year-old woman over a former boyfriend.

Vaughn was allegedly standing in the doorway of the store when the other woman drove into the parking lot in an SUV.

Vaughn, according to the police report, pulled out a .22 caliber handgun and fired several rounds at the victim.

She missed the victim, but the vehicle was struck. Rounds went in the driver's side back window and broke the passenger-side back window.

Vaughn confessed, saying she intended to shoot the victim.
