DONNA BRANNON DIES - 30 Year Arnoldsburg Teacher

A 30-year veteran teacher of Arnoldsburg Elementary School has died. Donna K. Talkington Brannon, 63, of Gilmer County, died February 2, 2010 at home, surrounded by family and friends, following complications from a liver transplant. She was a graduate of Normantown High School class of 1964 and a graduate of Glenville State College, earning a Bachelor of Arts in education. Ms. Brannon was employed by Calhoun County Board of Education for 30 years at Arnoldsburg Elementary School where she was a 2nd grade teacher until her retirement in June 2002.
