SCHOOL BOARD WILL HEAR UPDATE ON SECURITY SYSTEM

The Calhoun Board of Education will meet Monday evening at 6 p.m. to conduct an expulsion hearing and hear an update on the new school entrance security system. Several changes are proposed related to the reorganization of the central office administration, including eliminating a supervisor for a Title I position; eliminating a supervisor for a Special Education position, and creating a Director of Special Programs position. There are a number of employment items on the agenda, with job postings.
