| A 20-year-old Clay County woman was killed after hitting a patch of black ice this morning in Nicholas County.
Margaret Jane King was driving her 1998 GMC Sonoma on Belle Creek Road in Dixie.
Police said she rounded a curve, drove over a patch of black ice and crashed over an embankment, according to the Nicholas County Sheriff's Department.
King was trapped inside the vehicle.
She was pronounced dead at the scene.
