CLAY COUNTY RAIL YARD GETS BROWNFIELDS GRANT |
| (02/04/2010) |
| An old railroad yard in Clay County has received a $5,000 redevelopment grant. Clay is one of eleven communities across West Virginia getting money to create plans for redeveloping potentially contaminated industrial sites. Each community will receive a $5,000 grant from the FOCUS West Virginia Brownfields program. Brownfields are complicated by the presence or potential presence of a hazardous substance, pollutant or contaminant.
