SQUARE DANCE CLASSES RESUME - Clay County Promenaders Seeking New Dancers

(01/28/2010)
The Clay County Promenaders will resume their square dancing sessions on Monday, February 1. The dances will be conducted at the Senior Nutrition Center at Two Run and will begin about 7:00 p.m.

Out of county residents are most welcome to join.

The sessions generally run from an hour-and-a-half to two hours. The plan is for the dances to continue each Monday evening through the months of February and March. Adjustments in the schedule may be changed as needed.

The sessions are designed for adults but grown teenagers will be welcome.

The Promenaders are very interested in attracting new dancers and Mack Samples will be on hand to teach the squares. Since there will be several people on hand who already know the dances, it will be very easy to learn. Mack is also interested in getting some people interested in calling the dances. There will be opportunities for those who might be interested.

If you are looking for a fun way to get your body back in shape and perhaps lose a few pounds, these dance sessions provide an excellent opportunity. Square dancing can be very strenuous.
