SCHOOL BOARD WILL CONSIDER ONE 'RIF' TERMINATION

The Calhoun Board of Education will meet Thursday evening at 6 p.m. at Pleasant Hill Elementary School for a special presentation by the school's Local School Improvement Council. The board will be asked to approve some early releases, some volunteers, retirements and new hires. At least one school employee will be terminated based on Reduction in Force criteria (RIF).
