Grantsville Police Chief Charles McCroskey has made an arrest in the breaking and
entering of the VFW Post in January. Randy Holcomb, 20, is currently in Central
Regional Jail at Flatwoods with a hearing scheduled in Grantsville this week.
Holcomb was arrested on March 6, according to Chief McCroskey, who said the
investigation continues looking for individuals who recently broke and entered the
Red Brick on Main Street and Gordon's Odds 'n Ends on Court Street.
The theft of $300 from VFW Post 5959 happened in the early morning hours after a
pad lock was removed with bolt cutters and a double-locked door was "jimmied"
open.
