A Gandeeville, Roane County man was charged Saturday night with DUI, driving while license revoked, failure to report an accident, leaving the scene of an accident with damage over $500, and possession of marijuana less than 15 grams.

Calhoun Deputy Sheriff Jeff Starcher arrested 47 year old, Frederick King (left) after investigating a truck on its' side on Walnut Road, just off State Rt. 16.

While Deputy Starcher was photographing and securing the scene, a female passerby stopped and advised him she saw a man on Grannyshe Road that appeared to be drunk and bleeding.

Starcher discovered King bleeding heavily from wounds on his chin and forehead, and called for Calhoun EMS.

After failing sobriety tests, King was taken to Central Regional Jail.
