Daryell L. Smith, 69 - Grantsville

Daryell L. "Tater" Smith, 69, of Grantsville, West Virginia, died at his home on Tuesday, January 12, 2010 after a long battle with cancer. He was born in McDunn, WV to the late Blanche E. (Hunt) and Milford W. Smith. He retired from Ford in Brookpark, Ohio after 31 ½ years at the age of 55 years old. Survivors are his wife of 15 years, Michele L. Smith of Grantsville; his brothers, Burl Smith of Florida and Michael (Patty) Smith of Ohio; one brother-in-law, Frank Cosentino of Florida; his sons, Stephen, Stuart, Scott, David, and Jesse Smith of Ohio; one step-daughter, Tina L. (Josh) Whipkey of Grantsville; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by one sister, Janice Cosentino and one brother, Albert Smith. At his wishes no services will be held. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to the Calhoun Community Food Pantry. P.O.
