Doris Jean Taylor, 74 - Clay

Doris Jean Taylor, 74, of Clay, West Virginia, passed away January 15, 2010 at Hubbard House in Charleston. Born in Clay County, she was a daughter of Freeman and Nina Duffield. She was a member of the Alta Church of God at Alta and was a homemaker. Surviving are her husband, Rev. Arnold Taylor; 2 sons, Curt Dancy of Akron Ohio, and Charles Wyant of Clay; 4 stepsons, Denzil, Dexter, Ronnie and Richard Taylor all of Spencer, WV; 1 brother, Ford Duffield of Akron; 1 sister, Deloris Duffield of Akron; 17 grandchildren, and 14 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, January 20 at Stump Funeral Home, Arnoldsburg WV. Rev. Donald Dawson and Rev. Paul Young will officiate. Interment will be in the McLaughlin Cemetery at Duck. Friends may call at the funeral home one hour prior to the services.
