| Bernard James McCumbers, 91, of Rosedale, West Virginia, died at his home on Monday, January 4, 2010.
He is the son of the late Galry and Ada Cottrell McCumbers. He was a member of Fairview Church on Lower Nicut.
He is survived by wife, Rhonda Pearl Cottrell McCumbers, 5 sons: Darrell (Juanita) McCumbers of Wollwine, VA, Dare (Mava) McCumbers of Spencer, WV, Denzil (Marlene) McCumbers of Rosedale, Robert Dale (Patty) McCumbers of Elizabeth, WV, and Dwayne (Barb) McCumbers of Shiloh, Ohio; two daughters, Connie (Bill) Hardman of Navarre, Ohio and Sandra McCumbers of Parkersburg, WV; 14 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren; brother, Galry Jr. McCumbers of Ohio; and three sisters, Gladys Snyder of Ohio, Linda McCumbers of Rosedale, and Clara Turner of Ohio.
He was preceded in death by one brother and two sisters in addition to his parents.
Funeral services will be held at Stump Funeral Home, Arnoldsburg on Thursday, January 7, 2010 at 1 p.m. Rev. Carl Marks will officiate. Interment will be at Cottrell Cemetery on Bear Run.
Visitation will be Thursday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
