Ruth Kathryn Deweese Savell, 81 - Garland Texas

Ruth Kathryn Deweese Nolan Savell, age 81, entered into her Lord's presence on Sunday, December 13, 2009 in Garland, Texas. She lived at Milo Calhoun County in her childhood years and attended the Fink one room school, and attended Calhoun County High School, leaving in 1944. Ruth was born February 22, 1928 in Fenwick, West Virginia to Harley and Lenora DeWeese. She is survived by sisters Faye Humberston, Lake Milton, OH and June Auman, Boynton Beach, FL; brothers Perry DeWeese, Diamond, OH and Frank DeWeese, Mineral Ridge, OH; children Garry Nolan, Millington, TN; Michael Nolan, Vienna, WV; Marc Nolan, Scottsdale, AZ; Donald Savell, Kingwood, TX; Venona Savell Greaff, Crosby, TX and Patricia Nolan Butts, Garland, TX; Veno Savell II, Splendora, TX; and 23 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren. Ruth was preceded in death by son Larry Nolan and husband Veno Savell. Ruth lovingly cared for many children during her 30 plus years of service to Lindale Assembly of God in Houston. Family visitation was held at Lindale Assembly of God Thursday, December 17 with a Memorial service at Lindale. Interment was in Cedar Crest Cemetery, Baytown, Texas.
