RESPONDERS HAVE BUSY TUESDAY EVENING

It was a busy Tuesday evening for Calhoun responders.

State Police responded to a report of a gunshot victim on the left fork of Mud Fork at 5:30 p.m..

A 23-year-old man was reportedly found dead in the drive-way of a residence, a short distance from the Mud Fork Church.

Medical examiner Stacy Harlow responded to the scene, with Calhoun EMS.

Authorities indicated the man's death was "not suspicious."

Roane County emergency services responded to a two-vehicle collision near the Corder Bridge, US 33/119, near the Calhoun line about 5 p.m.

Police responded to a single-vehicle accident on Norman Ridge hill, the vehicle was reportedly on its' top. No injuries reported.

An 88-year-old woman on Milo Rd. reportedly suffered a wrist or arm fracture, and was transported to a Charleston hospital by Calhoun EMS.
