MEMORIAL SERVICES TUESDAY FOR MONROE MILLER - Victim Of ATV Accident

A memorial service will be held Tuesday, March 5 at 2 p.m. at the John H. Taylor Funeral Home in Spencer for Monroe Miller, Sr., 47, of Orville, Ohio. Miller died March 2 from injuries received in an ATV accident on Henry's Fork, along the Roane-Calhoun County line. There will be no visitation. Rev. James O. Epling will conduct the service.

He was born at Spencer, WV son of the late Lemuel Sidas and Justine Funk Miller. He was a disabled employee of Quality Casting, Orville, and a 1973 graduate of Spencer High School.

Survivors include his wife, Janice R. Miller of Orville; children, James M. Miller, Jr. of Spencer, Reta Miller of Orville, James Allen Miller of Rosedale, WV, Nathan Miller and Tara Miller of Orville; brothers, J. D. Miller of Ripley and Tommy Roach of Spencer; three sisters, Cora Mae Hively and Barbara Goodrich both of Spencer and Evelyn Kay of Parkersburg. Four grandchildren also survive, Austin Levi Miller, Riley Lynn Miller, Kristopher Michael Thoman and Sidas Ray Miller.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Steve Miller.
