COMMISSION WILL VOTE ON AUDIT REQUIREMENTS - Review County Budget

The Calhoun Commission will review the budget report at their Monday meeting starting at 9 a.m. The county has about $50,000 less money in accounts than a year ago, linked to recession.

The commission continues to walk a tight line regarding any new expenses.

Among the agenda items:

- Review of new and old grant applications

- Resolution for revised Mitigation Plan

- Commission will approve holiday schedule, Closed 24th & 25th of December and Jan. 1st.

- Discussion over one time pay increase

- Vote on audit requirement for appropriation of taxpayer funds to non-profit organizations.

- Richard Wittberg, Mid-Ohio Valley Health Department

- Danielle Stevens, Executive Secretary/resolutions for several grant applications:

Minnie Hamilton $10,000; Grantsville VFD $ 2,500; Upper West Fork VFD $ 2,500; Arnoldsburg VFD $ 2,500; Upper West Fork Park $ 2,500; Calhoun County Park $ 2,500; Calhoun County EMS $ 1,605

- Resolutions for Grant Contracts:

County Clerk's Office $10,000; Grantsville VFD $ 2,250; Arnoldsburg VFD $ 2,250.

- Resignation of Tom Fox from the E-911 board; Resignation of Jo Ann Stevens from Calhoun Deputy Sheriff Civil Service Board; Resignation of C.W. McDonald from Calhoun Deputy Sheriff Civil Service Board.

- Christmas Dinner December 17th, 11:30 to 1:00
