VAN-TRUCK COLLISION SENDS VICTIMS TO HOSPITAL - Leading Creek Accident

Sheriff Parsons and Trooper Hamrick investigate accident

A van-truck collision on Leading Creek Road sent at least two to Minnie Hamilton Health Care Center yesterday. Among those injured were Diane Wilson of Leading Creek, reported to be the driver of the truck. She was taken to Minnie Hamilton Health Care Center for treatment of "multiple injuries" by Calhoun EMS.

A woman from the van was also transported to the hospital. The van was reportedly returning from church services, and had two adults and three children on board. Sources at the scene said the children did not appear to be injured.

Emergency workers remove victims from collision

Sheriff Allen Parsons and newly assigned Trooper Hamrick of the West Virginia State Police investigated.

Calhoun EMS dispatched two ambulances to the accident scene, with the Grantsville Volunteer Fire Department.
