Two more West Virginia hunters have died of heart attacks during this week's deer hunt. The Division of Natural Resources reported one hunting-related fatal heart attack Monday. Now there's two more. DNR says a 67-year-old Cumberland, Maryland hunter, Charles Wilkinson was stricken while dragging a deer with a four-wheeler in the Germany Valley. Also dead is 45-year-old Moorefield resident Randall Whetzel, who was found dead in his vehicle. Seventy-three-year-old Berkeley Springs resident Curtis Lane Walker died while hunting in Morgan County. Another hunter is in stable condition after he slipped and shot himself in the ankle. |
