Milton E. "Bill" Rexroad, 73 - Walton

Milton E. "Bill" Rexroad, 73, of Walton, West Virginia, formerly of Akron, Ohio, died Saturday, November 21, 2009, at home.

He was born September 7, 1936 at Walton, a son of the late Olaf B. and Carrie Mae Rader Rexroad. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a grandson, Joseph DeWayne Rexroad; and a sister, Iola Gay Rexroad.

Bill was a retired employee of Ford Motor Company, Walton Hills Stamping Plant, Walton Hills, Ohio and a member of the U.A.W., Local 420. He was a 50 year resident of Ohio. Also, he was a member and deacon of the Bible Baptist Church, Akron.

Survivors include his wife, Wanda Humphreys Rexroad of Walton; sons and daughters-in-law, Milton William and Donna Carol Rexroad, Theodore E. and Teresa Lynn Rexroad all of Akron, Ohio; daughter and son-in-law, Donna and Wayne Augustus of Forest, Ohio; seven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren; brother, Gary Rexroad of Walton; sisters, June Coiner of Hurricane, Louise Scott and Gertrude Rexroad both of Newark, Ohio, Nancy Burdette of Casselberry, Fla.; Charlene Pondillo of Youngstown, Ohio and Tommy Lee Wensel, II of Hartville, Ohio, who were both reared in the home and considered as family since childhood.

A funeral service will be conducted Saturday, November 28 at 2:00 p.m. in the John H. Taylor Funeral Home, Spencer. Burial will be in the Rexroad-Ryan Cemetery, Walton.

Friends may call Friday, November 27 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
