FAIRMONT FOOTBALL PLAYER SHOT - The Fairmont Police Department is investigating a shooting that occurred outside the Wize Guyz bar early Friday morning.

The victim is Henry Richardson, 23, of South Carolina. He was taken to Ruby Memorial Hospital.

Richardson is a senior at Fairmont State University and a linebacker on the Falcon Football team.

Police have recovered some evidence, but they haven't filed any charges.

MAN STABS WIFE IN WHEELING - A Wheeling Island man is facing charges after police say he stabbed his estranged wife several times.

25-year-old Brent Levi Victor McGilton was arrested early Sunday and charged with malicious wounding.

"An argument over a pending divorce is what led to the stabbing," says Sgt. Rob Marriner of the Wheeling Police Department.

McGilton is lodged in the Northern Regional Jail under $25,000 bond.

PARKERSBURG BOB EVANS ROBBED - The Parkersburg Police are looking for a man that robbed a Bob Evans restaurant with a knife Friday evening.

A black male entered the Bob Evans eatery in the Park Shopping Center and demanded money from the cashier.

The man got away with an undetermined amount of money.

LOGAN MAN STABS BROTHER - A man who is no stranger to law enforcement was arrested for allegedly stabbing his own brother.

Alex Frank Miller, 27, of Logan, was arrested last week by Officers J.L. Sheppard and D.A. White of the Logan Police Department for malicious wounding.

A report said Alex Miller said, "I got into a fight with my brother, and I stabbed him."

The officers then found the stabbing victim down the street.

Curtis Miller reportedly told the officers that Alex Miller had stabbed him in the neck.

Curtis Miller was then taken by County Public Ambulance to Logan Regional Medical Center, suffering four stab wounds. He refused treatment.

STEALING GUNS - Three Minden residents have been arrested and charged with stealing 15 guns and a compound bow from a home in Oak Hill, Saturday.

Sidney Guy Owens and Ruth Ann Owens, both 31, and Michael Vincent Sicilia Jr., 27, were arrested on various charges after the burglary.

The guns and the bow were valued at about $10,000.
