(11/20/2009)
About 90 more Calhoun students received the H1N1 Swine Flu vaccine this week at county schools.

The Mid-Ohio Valley Health Department has already given 244 H1N1 vaccinations to Calhoun school children at an earlier clinic, brining the total to 334.

A few other students may have received the vaccine at the health department's office.

The vaccine, either by nasal spray or vaccination, was administered with parental consent.

The 2008-09 enrollment number for Calhoun schools is 1,126 students, 650 at Calhoun Middle-High School, 233 at Arnoldsburg Elementary and 243 at Pleasant Hill Elementary.

The health department in Grantsville is having an additional H1N1 vaccination clinic for several high risk groups on November 24.
