| Lona Cottrell Falls, 73, of Big Bend, West Virginia died on Tuesday, November 17, 2009 at Camden-Clark Memorial Hospital, Parkersburg, WV.
She was born January 12, 1936, a daughter of the late Ray and Louisa Coger Cottrell.
She is survived by daughter, Sheila (Bill) Butler of Big Bend; son, Duane Falls of Binghamton, NY; sisters, Pauline Miller of Spencer, WV and Madeline Ortschied of Akron, Ohio; 12 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death, in addition to her parents, by her husband, John Falls; sister Orpha Ortschied; and grandsons Derrick Shelley and Brent Butler.
Funeral services will be held at Stump Funeral Home, Grantsville on Friday, November 20, 2009 at 1 p.m. Rev. C. W. McDonald will officiate. Interment will be in Bailey Cemetery.
Visitation will be held at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.
