| Lona Cottrell Falls, 73, of Big Bend, died on Tuesday, November 17, 2009 at Camden-Clark Memorial Hospital, Parkersburg.
She was born January 12, 1936, a daughter of the late Ray and Louisa Coger Cottrell.
She is survived by daughter Sheila (Bill) Butler of Big Bend, WV, son, Duane Falls of Binghamton, NY, sisters, Pauline Miller of Spencer, WV and Madeline Ortschied of Akron, Ohio, 12 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death, in addition to her parents, by her husband, John Falls, sister Orpha Ortschied and grandsons Derrick Shelley and Brent Butler.
Funeral services will be held at Stump Funeral Home, Grantsville on Friday, November 20, 2009 at 1 p.m.
Rev. C. W. McDonald will officiate. Interment will be in Bailey Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.
