Roger L. Weaver, 65, of Parkersburg, formerly of Big Springs, died Tuesday, Nov. 3, 2009, at St. Joseph's Hospital, Parkersburg.

He was born at Harrisville, the son of the late Ava V. Weaver Naylor and step-son of the late Edward N. Naylor.

Surviving are his wife, Mary Weaver; one daughter, Kathlene Ann Jean Garrett; six brothers, Fredrick Naylor of Salem, Ohio, Paul Naylor of Waverly, Arley Naylor of Rockport, Harley Naylor of Mineral Wells, John Naylor of Salineville, Ohio, and William "Bill" Naylor of Salem, Ohio; five sisters, Shirley Moore of East Rochester, Ohio, Phyllis Simmons of Ravenswood, Louisa "May" Cottle of Parkersburg, Lura Naylor of Parkersburg and Patricia "Pat" Byers of Belpre, Ohio; one uncle, Bernard Weaver of Glenville; two aunts, Mae Jennings of Grantsville and Ova Bragg of Big Springs; five grandchildren; and several nephews, nieces, great-nephews and great-nieces.

He was preceded in death by two brothers, Michael "Mike" Naylor and Emmett J. "Jeff" Naylor; one sister, Thelma G. Naylor; grandmother, Delphia Weaver; one uncle, Johnie Weaver; and one aunt, Mary Yoak.

His wishes were to have no funeral and no family viewing and to be cremated.
