A new County 4-H club met November 10th at the Brooksville Baptist Church Family Life Center.

Those present were: members, Ethan Heiney, Monica Heiney, Sophia Steigleder and Shaylah Mullins; leaders, Samantha Cason and Alley Snider; guests, Betty Wilson, Shane Steigleder and Jessica Richards.

The group voted on the name of the Big Bend club deciding to be called the Big Bend Boulders.

The club elected officers for the new club year, they are, Monica Heiney, President; Ethan Heiney, Vice President; Sophia Steigleder, Treasurer; Shaylah Mullins, Secretary.

The Boulders discussed what 4-H is, selected project books for the year and talked about the 4-H Up-All-Night event in December. The club decided to go Christmas caroling in the Big Bend area with a tentative date of December 8th.

The next meeting for the Big Bend Boulders will be Tuesday, December 8th at 6:30 p.m. at the Brooksville Baptist Church Family Life Center. Youth ages 9-21 are welcome.
