Frederick "Skip" Albanese - Linn

On November 12, 2009 Frederick "Skip" Albanese went to be with the Lord peacefully at Kindred Care Hospital in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

He is survived by his loving wife of 30 years Judith Persinger-Albanese who resides in Linn, WV; also surviving is 1 daughter, Angela Boyd of Dallas, Texas.

He is preceded in death by his father Joseph Albanese and stepmother Della Marks-Albanese.

Skip served his country in the Korean War at the tender age of 15 where he received a purple heart. He spent 30 years in Texas working as a carpenter and then retired as a maintenance engineer from Hampton Inn in 1995. In 2000 he and wife Judy moved to West Virginia where they enjoyed the quietness of country life.

Skip will be missed deeply because of his love and warmth that he brought to his wife and daughter. He also has 2 nephews, Skylar Arbogast and Carmeron Riffle that he adored and loved.

He may have left our presence, but will never leave our hearts. "Yet the lord will command his loving kindness in the daytime, and in the night his song shall be with me, and my prayer unto the God of my life." Psalm 42:8. We will miss you, with all our love, Judy and Angie.

Funeral services were conducted at 11 a.m., Tuesday, November 17, 2009 at the Ellyson Mortuary Inc., Glenville where Preacher Phil Wilson, officiated. Burial followed in the McHenry II Cemetery with full military honors.
