FRANKLIN GEORGE RECEIVES MOUNTAIN HERITAGE AWARD (11/16/2009) Franklin George received the WVU Mountain Heritage Award, this weekend in Morgantown. The award is given annually during Mountaineer Week to an old time fiddler who has made a significant contribution to Appalachian culture, heritage and music.
