MINNIE HAMILTON RECEIVES $15,000 SSJ GRANT

At its' fall meeting, the Sisters of St. Joseph Charitable Fund's Board of Directors approved new grant funding for several nonprofit organizations in the Mid-Ohio Valley. Minnie Hamilton Health System in Grantsville has received a $15,000 grant for colposcopy equipment and training. The funds will support agencies' operating, capacity, and program efforts. This is the SSJ Charitable Fund's second grant-making cycle of 2009. Spring 2010 Cycle Opens December 1, 2009 Starting December 1, 2009, the Sisters of St. Joseph Charitable Fund will begin accepting Letters of Inquiry for the Spring 2010 cycle. Letters will be accepted until 3 p.m. on January 13, 2010. Residents of Calhoun, Jackson, Pleasants, Ritchie, Tyler, Wood, Wirt, and Roane in West Virginia, and Athens, Meigs, and Washington in Ohio, are eligible.
