| Dortha M. Pittman Baker, 88, of Ravenna, Ohio, more recently a resident of Minnie Hamilton's Long Term Care unit, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, November, 9, 2009.
She was born December 25, 2009 in Bellsville, Ohio to the late Arthur O. and Bearyl O. Miller Pittman.
Mrs. Baker has been a Portage County resident all her adult life and was a member of the 1st Christian Church in Ravenna.
Survivors include her sons Herbert (Joan) Baker of Tallmadge, Ohio, Raymond (Kathy) Baker of Grantsville, WV, Ronald (Becky) Baker of Ravenna, Ohio; 13 grandchildren, and many great grandchildren; brother, Roul Pittman of Westerville, Ohio; sisters Hazel Pittman of Bellsville, Ohio, Nealie Enghauph of Canton, Ohio, Eva Decker of Rootstown, Grace Baker of New Mexico and Betty Miller.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Herbert W. Baker in 2007 and daughter Phyliss Porter.
Calling hours will be from 1 p.m. until time of services at 2 p.m. Thursday November 12, 2009 at Shorts-Spicer-Crislip Funeral Home Ravenna Chapel with Rev. Dr. Perry Mattern officiating. Burial will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery Ravenna, Ohio.
