LIONS PLAN WOOD FESTIVAL CARNIVAL - Pay Library Flood Insurance

The Grantsville Lions Club made plans to take down Grantsville's Christmas lights and having the annual carnival at the Calhoun Wood Festival.

The group voted to pay the Calhoun Library's flood insurance premium for the year and donate money toward sending doctors to perform free eye exams in Latin American countries.

The meal was provided by Denver Taylor. Two guests from the Clarksburg Club attended the meeting. Four local members agreed to attend the zone meeting in Harrisville.

When the meeting adjourned, members inspected an electronic bingo machine obtained by Tom Gainer.
