CLOCK IS TICKING FOR WV TAX BREAK

(11/09/2009)
The clock is ticking for a tax break that has been in effect for West Virginians.

The state's Energy Star Sales Tax Holiday will wrap up on November 30th.

Lots of energy saving products purchased with the Energy Star rating are excluded from the state sales tax.

For example, if you purchased an $800 Energy Star TV, you'd save nearly $50.

The Energy Star Sales Tax Holiday will save West Virginia residents nearly four million dollars.
