| Robert R. Browning, 52, of Charleston, formerly of Spencer, West Virginia, died November 2, 2009, in the CAMC-General Hospital, Charleston.
Robert was born March 11, 1957, in Charleston a son of Swannie Harper Browning Linville of Charleston and the late Shirley Robert Browning. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a brother, Terry Browning; and stepfather, Ralph Linville.
He was an auto mechanic at Buck's Marathon, Cleveland, Ohio and a 1975 graduate of Spencer High School.
In addition to his mother, survivors include sons, Robert S. Browning of Cleveland, Ohio and Steven C. Browning of Elkview; a brother and sister-in-law, Steve and Mary Browning of Spencer; sister and brother-in-law, Wilma and Gary Burdette of Charleston.
A funeral service will be held Thursday at 11:00 a.m. in the John H. Taylor Funeral Home, Spencer, with the Rev. Homer Hensley officiating. Burial will be in the Tyler Mountain Memory Gardens, Cross Lanes.
Friends may call Wednesday from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
