KANAWHA WOMAN SIXTH WV VICTIM OF SWINE FLU

(11/02/2009)
Nationwide, H1N1 or Swine Flu, appears to be striking young adults and children, at least in greater numbers.

The Kanawha-Charleston Health Department is saying a 58-year-old woman is the state's sixth victim of Swine Flu.

They say the woman died of complications on Halloween at a Kanawha County hospital.

The agency says it hasn't been confirmed that the woman had the H1N1 virus, she tested positive for influenza and regional data shows 99 percent of people who test positive for influenza have swine flu.
