Raymond E. Pauley, 40 - Clendenin

Raymond E. Pauley, 40, of Clendenin, West Virginia, passed away on October 28, 2009, as a result of a motorcycle accident.

Ray was a former welder and heavy equipment operator.

He was preceded in death by his father, Daris Ray Pauley; brother, Kenny Pauley; and sister, Sharon Pauley; both maternal and paternal grandparents.

Survivors include his mother and best friend, Rhonda Pauley-McClain of Amma; sister and brother-in-law, Mandy and Josh White of Walton; two children, Joshua and Amber Pauley of New Haven; two nieces, Courtney and Whitney Pauley; three nephews, Mike Pauley, Chase and Cody White; stepfather, Alan McClain of Spencer; former wife, Sarah Pauley, of New Haven; companion, Paula McCracken, and her daughter, Hallie Smith of Clendenin.

Ray was loved and cared for deeply by all of his friends and family. He was a 1988 graduate of Spencer High School. He was known for being a very humorous and fun-loving man, whose smile could brighten "anyone's" day. He was one of a kind and will be sadly missed and always loved.

A funeral service will be held Sunday at 2:00 p.m. in the John H. Taylor Funeral Home, Spencer. Burial will be in the Clover Cemetery, Clover. Friends may call Saturday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
