Ralph Clinton Campbell Jr., 70, of Ormond Beach, Fla., and formerly of Parkersburg, passed away Oct. 25, 2009.

He was born in Central City, Ky., a son of the late Ralph Clinton and Xenil Williams Campbell.

He was a former resident of Grantsville.

Mr. Campbell was raised in West Virginia and moved to Florida after the death of his parents. For the past five years he made his home with his sister and brother-in-law, Charlotte and Jim Hogan of Ormond Beach.

While living in Parkersburg he was an employee of the former Union Trust Bank. Ralph was an avid bicycle rider who had accumulated 34,430 documented miles on his three-wheeled bicycle within the last five years. He was a collector of Coca-Cola memorabilia and model cars and trucks.

He is survived by his sisters, Charlotte (Jim) Hogan and JoAnn (Dr. Charles) Stump; several nieces and nephews including, Michael (Jeanie) Stump, Jeffery (Jessyca) Hogan, Ann (Richard) Martorano, Kathryn (Alex) Heggblod and five great-nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be conducted 11 a.m. Saturday at the Sunset Memory Gardens, with Pastor Keith Hostutler officiating. The family will receive friends at the Vaughan Funeral Home, Parkersburg from 5-7 p.m. Friday.
