CMS VOLLEYBALL FINISHES SEASON WITH 12-0 RECORD

The Calhoun Middle School Volleyball team finished their regular season 12-0 - the only team in the conference to accomplish that result.

The CWVAC tournament was held Saturday with the CMS Volleyball girls finishing as Runner-Up after falling to Walton in three games.

Round One - Bye for being #1 Seed>

Round Two - CMS defeats Braxton 17-25, 25-14 and 25-19.

Scores - Shayla Arnold 15, Samantha Harris 15, Stephanie Hall 9, Megan Barton 10, Amanda Carter 8, Chelsea Hicks 8 and McKenzie Hicks 2>

Round Three - CMS defeated by Walton 23-25 and 18-25.

Scores - Shayla Arnold 4, Samantha Harris 9, Stephanie Hall 14, Megan Barton 6, Amanda Carter 3, Chelsea Hicks 4, and McKenzie Hicks 1.

Semi Finals - CMS Defeats Braxton 25-10 and 25-15.

Scores - Shayla Arnold 7, Samantha Harris 7, Stephanie Hall 11, Megan Barton 5, McKenzie Hicks 3, Amanda Carter 6 and Chelsea Hicks 11.

Finals - CMS defeated by Walton 12-25, 25-21 and 17-25.

Scores - Shayla Arnold 12, Samantha Harris 12, Stephanie Hall 8, Megan Barton 6, McKenzie Hicks 3, Amanda Carter 8, Chelsea Hicks 5.

CMS Volleyball received the trophy for runner up.

CMS Volleyball girls selected for All-Conference for the 2009 Season were Megan Barton and Chelsea Hicks.

CMS Volleyball Girls selected for All-Tournament Team were Stephanie Hall and Samantha Harris.
