RAIN SLICK ROADS LEADS TO CRASHES

Rain falling on dust covered pavement during a dry spell means trouble for some motorists.

At least three drivers got into trouble yesterday, starting at 1:39 p.m., with a vehicle going out of control on Rt. 16 near Crummies Creek, landing on its' top. No injuries.

A couple vehicles collided, a rear-end collision, near Speedy Mart at 2:15 p.m. No injuries.

Another car went out of control on the Mt. Zion Ridge, about one mile south of Calhoun Middle-High School. A female driver and her infant child escaped injury.
