FORMER STATE POLICEMAN'S HOUSE BURNS IN WIRT

The home of Darrin and Misty Campbell, residents of the Full Fork-Garfield Rd. section near Palestine, Wirt County, burned to the ground today. Campbell, a former State Policemen assigned to the Grantsville Detachment, was apparently not at home when the fire broke out. The Elizabeth-Wirt VFD and other regional fire departments responded to the scene, reports said the house was fully engulfed upon arrival. Misty Campbell, Darrin's wife, is the magistrate clerk in Wirt County.
