Welcome. Gosh, I am so behind in everything. Time just flew by and left me standing on the runway.

Happy Anniversary goes out to Mike and Diana Taylor. We hope you have many, many more!

Congratulations go out to the Rebel Team and their coaching staff for their win on Friday night. We are so proud of you!

Ethan's pumpkin sales have been amazing. I had no idea that he would sell as many as he did. Clearly, I am in the wrong business. So, if you are in search of "The Great Pumpkin" you must call and check with my "businessman" to see what he has left.

The Grange Fall Fling is tentatively set for October 24th. Make sure you leave the date open so you and your family can attend! It's a good time for all ages. If for no other reason, stop by to see what totally offensive costume I have picked out for this year's most awesome holiday.

I am still pondering on my Internet situation. Lately, I have been checking up on these DSL companies. I called one that has had a continuous advertisement in the back of our local papers. To be quite honest, the ad is very misleading. The ad mentions that the amount would only be $49 after a mail-in rebate. Well, what they don't mention is that it is $240 down and installation could be included for an additional mere $100. The package price that is listed is just the lowest speed that is offered. So, after all that, I decided that I might look into another company. I have called a few that have mentioned service would be available even in rural areas.

I guess it must depend on how rural we are talking about. When I mentioned where I lived, they said, "Oh, our service isn't available there." So, I guess when they say rural, I think they really mean to say, "slightly out of town limits." It's really sad that these companies are just out to make a buck rather than help us all get up to speed. I can't wait for a company that will actually care about those in remote areas that won't charge us a ton of money just because of where we live.

I would like to thank those who came out to work on our street the other day. I did take note that there were no Northern Regional Hotel guests among the group. I could see that tearing themselves away from MySpace would be a lot to ask. I guess what irritates me about that is my tax dollars are funding their Internet access and I can't even get it in my own home! 'Sup with that?

Happy Birthday goes out to my Mom on October 17! She will be around 50 I think. Don't tell her I told you it was her birthday. It's a secret….

Be sure to stop by and check out our "Drowning Pool" at the House of Metallica. Our members are only doing their job by allowing the public to "witness" the finest service music.

Peace.
