CLASS OF 1969 CATCHES-UP ON 'OLD TIMES'

Submitted by Sue Williams Calhoun County High School Class of 1969 held their 40th Reunion Saturday, Sept. 19th at the Family Life Center in Big Bend, WV. Registration was held followed by a grilled steak dinner prepared by Sue Ferrell Williams. A class fundraiser auction was probably the highlight of the day with Leonard Hardway and Donald Little doing an outstanding job auctioneering. Martha Ritchie Johnson prepared a memorial table for the 15 classmates who have passed away. The afternoon was spent renewing friendships and catching up on 'old times' while enjoying many memorabilia tables. Thirty-four classmates attended, five of which attended a reunion for the first time. Many were already looking forward to the next reunion.
