Mrs. Frances L. Knotts, 74 - Formerly of Calhoun County

(10/10/2009)
Mrs. Frances L. Knotts, 74, of Auburndale, Florida, died Saturday, September 26, 2009, of cancer.

To my beloved wife of the past 57 years, I'll love you for the rest of my life. You were so devoted as my wife and co-owner of our tax business for 38 years, until the day you passed away.

She was born June 21, 1935 at Stinson, WV and attended school in Calhoun County through 1952.

She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Harry Knotts whom she married August 22, 1952; two sons, Danny E. Knotts and Garry W. Knotts, both of Auburndale; and daughter, Susan Dirr of Powder Springs, GA; nine grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.

She passed away leaving her family this final note: Do not stand at my grave and weep, I am not there, I do not sleep. I am a thousand winds that blow; I am the diamond glints in the snow. I am the sunlight on ripened grain; I am the gentle autumn's rain. When you awaken in the morning's hush, I am the swift up-lifting rush of quiet birds in circled flight. I am the soft star that shines at night. Do not stand at my grave and cry. I am not there, I did not die.

Graveside service was held at Auburndale Memorial Park.
