SEARCH WILL RESUME FOR BODIES ON CHILDER'S BRAXTON FARM

(10/10/2009)
Police plan to resume the search for victims of a Clarksburg handyman who claimed to have killed five people after mapping his family's farm in Braxton County.

James Childers, 45, killed himself in June as police prepared to arrest him on murder and arson charges.

Childers had recorded an audiotape in which he led police to the bodies of two women and claimed to have killed three other people.

Clarksburg Police Lt. R. Hilliard says that officers have spent about a month mapping the 96-acre Childers farm at Copen.

The search will resume in late November or early December.
