Frances Madelyn Hathaway, 88, of Grantsville, WV died February 18, 2002, at
her home. She was the daughter of the late William Russell and Opra Cain
Knight. She was a successful businesswoman in Calhoun, a life-long member of the VFW Auxiliary Post 5959 and a member of Mires Run Methodist Church at Burnsville. She is survived by sons, Gary Hardman of Mocksville, NC and William Jones of Grantsville; brothers, Hurcel Knight of Parkersburg, WV and Louis Knight of Baltimore, MD; sisters, Margaret Cunningham of Grantsville, Mammie Beall of North Canton, Ohio, Martha Britton of Weston, WV and Myrtle Powell of South Canton, Ohio; three grand-children and one great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband William Howard Hathaway, two sisters and one brother. A private family memorial service will be held at a later date. |
