4-H teen leaders is a group comprised of teens ages 13-18. They participate in community service throughout the year, and try to take one educational trip each year as well.

This year the group went to Washington, D.C. in late July. The group enjoyed many historical sites in the city, including; the National Mall, Lincoln Memorial, the Washington Monument, Ford's Theatre, and Arlington National Cemetery, among others.

During the trip the teens were treated to a hummer limo ride around the city, and again were able to stop at many of the historical sites, including the White House to take pictures.

The last day the teens were in Washington D.C., they received a tour of our nation's capitol. During the capital tour the teen leaders got to meet and spend time with Congresswoman Capito, she graciously went out of her way to make sure they felt welcomed at the Capital.

To end the day the group had the privilege to set down with Senator Rockefeller who also took time out of his busy schedule to talk to the group for 20 minutes at his office. The group would like to thank everyone who made this possible, through their kind donations and supporting fundraisers.
