2009 King and Queen crowned at Arnoldsburg

The 42nd WV Molasses Festival has a new king and queen, selected last night at Arnoldsburg from a number of Arnoldsburg Elementary School contestants.

The new king is Ethan Jarvis, son of Travis and Felicia Jarvis of Chloe.

The new queen is Shelby Clawson, daughter of Richard and Brenda Clawson of Arnoldsburg.

The annual event is an Arnoldsburg Elementary School PTO fundraiser, this year raising $9,430.99.

Royalty selections are made by donating money to a favorite candidate, which goes to Arnoldsburg school improvements.
